For more than 25 years, TJ has called Okotoks and the Foothills region home, where she raised her three children and became deeply connected to the people, schools, and neighbourhoods that make this area special. Before settling in Okotoks, she lived in Calgary after moving west in 1996, bringing with her small-town Saskatchewan roots that shaped her practical outlook, strong work ethic, and genuine appreciation for community. She studied at Queen’s University and Western University (UWO), earning Bachelor’s degrees in Biology, Kinesiology, and Education — a combination that reflects both her analytical mindset and her passion for helping people make confident decisions.

Outside of real estate, TJ is deeply family-oriented and actively involved in her community. She enjoys outdoor fun, water sports and volunteering, and brings the same energy and heart to her personal life as she does to her work.
A former Mrs. Calgary (2013), TJ helped raise funds for Southern Alberta flood victims, earning recognition from the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and a White Hat honour from the City of Calgary. Together with her daughter, she launched the Alberta Strong Doll campaign to comfort children who had lost their belongings — a story later featured on Darrel Janz’s Inspired Series.
TJ has also co-hosted a renovation television show, Crowns of Construction, which aired on CTV and focused on charitable renovation projects, including work on a women’s treatment centre in Calgary. As an ACTRA actress, she has appeared in productions such as Heartland and Hell on Wheels, and previously hosted a live game show on CMT.
At home, TJ’s family life includes two cats and two dogs — including Mister, a gentle Great Dane with his own Instagram following (@MisterOkotoks) who regularly steals the spotlight.
