What it is really like.

Lakefront homes have their own dock access, and the rest of the community enjoys the lake through the Crystal Shores Beach House and its beach. Homes range from condos and townhomes to large detached homes, and owners at The Mesa condo complex also enjoy lake access with an annual fee, so lake living is possible at more than one price point.

Next door, Crystalridge adds established family streets with Dr. Morris Gibson School right in the neighbourhood. Together they sit in the heart of north Okotoks, close to the Recreation Centre, shopping and the routes north to Calgary.

Crystal Green rounds out the area. It is built around Crystal Ridge Golf Club, and its villas and bungalows backing onto the course are some of the most requested homes in this part of town, especially with golfers, downsizers and snowbirds who want main-floor living and an easy, lock-and-leave lifestyle.

A Fun Fact from TJ

TJ designed a custom home that still sits on this lake today, and she loved living there. In those days there was no development on the north side of the lake or beyond it, just open field. She has watched Crystal Shores grow into one of the most sought-after communities in town.

Good to know before you buy.

Lake access comes with an annual homeowners' association fee, and lakefront, lake-view and off-lake homes are priced very differently. Downsizing into a villa often means buying and selling at the same time. TJ will make sure you know exactly what you are paying for, and that the timing of both moves works.
